Our JLS Enhanced Premium Stainless Steel Round Springs are beautiful. They are made of high-tensile stainless steel that is ground and polished. The surface finish is more akin to a gold flute spring than a typical stainless spring. Particularly in the smaller diameters (think piccolo, flute, oboe, clarinet), the spring has a more lively feel than either the blued needle, regular stainless, or gold.
