This microfiber polishing cloth is perfect for removing fingerprints and oils from the flute exterior.
Instructions for polishing cloths
Just apply cloth to flute and wipe, right? Actually, you can cause a great deal of damage with a polishing cloth. If you rub too hard, you can scratch the surface if there’s even the tiniest bit of grit there. If you’re not careful, you can catch the cloth on needle springs and unhook them. The cloth is only for cleaning the metal, so don’t use it to clean the delicate pad surfaces. Only clean pad surfaces with a cleaner like our Pad Juice, which gently cleans with no residue.
Since the cloth removes oils from the surface of the flute, it gets dirty. Make sure you wash it periodically. In warm water by hand with dishwashing soap works best.
